Stock Artists Alliance UI and CMS Development
The staff, volunteers, and members of the Stock Artists Alliance needed to solve the challenges of their web presence and set a foundation for future growth. Their web presence at the time did not enable the institution to manage, update, or publish web content in a timely fashion or audit content access to facilitate decision-making. The Drupal framework was the choice CMS development platform
iDonny Productions collaborated with the client to establish objectives and scope the CMS development project to meet and exceed the requirements. Based on extensive knowledge in CMS development and best practices, the resulting CMS website provided features that make the following a reality.
- Setup and configuration of publishing functions that now enable content creators, providers and maintainers to create, update and maintain content through an authenticated browser interface
- Examined content relationships and established a metadata setup that makes it possible to define and use content topics to present requested and additional relevant content to website visitors
- Eliminated the need to webmaster intervention for all website and content maintenance functions making the implemented technology an enabler and not an impediment to effective content management
- Established the foundation, and setup community participation and engagement functions such as commenting, user-accounts, forums, organic groups, content subscription, and blogging while closely integrating them to related website content
- Setup and automated end to end system for user-account management both for user registration (free), and paid affiliate registration complete with ecommerce and subscription expiry and renewal features
